Case Study 5: Commercial Infrastructure Modernization & Technical Engineering Studies

Commercial Fit-Out, Retail Deployment & Field Engineering Services
Client(s): Airtel, Africell, Oxfam & First Bank
Scale / Volume: 71+ Retail Kiosks & Shops deployed / Multiple Specialized Site Surveys
Project Duration: 2 to 6 Weeks (per phase)
Mobilized Workforce: 40+ Skilled Artisans & Civil Engineers
Scope
Complete refurbishment of executive offices (Africell Goma), deployment and retrofitting of 71 retail structures (Airtel kiosks, MiniAMB, and AMB 4-walls), topographic studies for water supply (Oxfam Baraka), and geotechnical soil testing (DCP/Soil tests for Africell Data Center and Eastcastle).
Challenge
Managing two highly distinct workstreams simultaneously: executing high-finish architectural fit-outs for retail shops to strictly meet brand guidelines, while deploying engineering teams to remote areas to deliver highly precise geological and topographic data.
Execution
Prefabrication of metallic retail structures to speed up on-site deployment. Simultaneously, specialized engineering teams equipped with DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer) and topographic tools were dispatched to critical site locations to perform terrain analysis.
Result
Successfully expanded the retail footprint of telecom partners with rapid shop openings, and delivered critical engineering reports that secured the structural foundation designs for upcoming data centers and telecom towers.
